Q: MacBook Pro 13inc

Hi

I am using MacBook Pro 13inc

base memory : 2 + 2 = 4gb.

I need to know more the maximum support memory (ram).

As of now i am using memory : 8 + 2 = 10gb.

Is it safe or any complications.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

What specific MacBook Pro? there are many 13 inch models

Then enter your model here

and select memory upgrade

If you model supports 16 GB (2x8) then 8 + 2 GB will be fine

Be advised that a mismatched pair of RAM modules will be less efficient that a matched pair of the same capacity.

As often is the case, it is dependent upon one's definition of 'efficient' or 'noticeable' and what sources one rely's upon to support their position.
