Q: iOS update

How do you know if the iOS update download is ongoing?  it is just grayed out and says its downloading but there are no clues as to status. After waiting a long time I wonder, is this a glitch? Do I need a hard restart and try again - or am I just impatient?

    As long as you see the info about remaining time, you're downloading the update. If the download stops (for example: lost connection) you will get notification about the error. when download is completed the status changes to 'preparing to install/update' - somethig like this. I don't remember exactly what it says.

     

    So, the conclusion: if you see the time remaining, your phone is downloading the update.
