Q: Aperture

As an Apple afficionado I am very disappointed that Apple is not supporting printing of Books from Aperture.

Photos is no way near the same quality of books. Please at least make Photos on level with Aperture. To call Photos an update to Aperture is an insult.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Photos is not meant to be a replacement for Aperture. Apple stopped the development of its professional photo application without any replacement. You can consider Photos to be a replacement for iPhoto as the basic tool to manage photos on a Mac.

But for an Aperture replacement look somewhere else.

to get your Aperture books printed consider Presto Photo. Save your book as a PDF file and upload it.

Sorry but Apple is not here and they did not ever say Photos is a replacement for or update to Aperture - it is not, it is a new and different program and Aperture support has been discontinued

PrestoPhotos will print your Aperture books - the reviews here have been generally good - I have not personally used them
