Q: iOS 9.3.3 broke iBooks store on iPad

Exactly the same for me. iBooks on my iPad Pro broke down on July 20, while I was still running iOS 9.3.2. I'm hoping 9.3.3 will straighten out the problem.

Unfortunately, though my iBooks crashed under iOS 9.3.2, upgrading to iOS 9.3.3 didn't correct the problem. I hope Apple figures it out & corrects this soon. At least I can still read my books. All other features are whited out, however, and will not load.

I have the same problem on both of my iPads. I have an old one and an IPad Air2. I see my books but if I press any of the other icons in iBooks that allow me to get to the store , I get a white screen. Upgrading to iOS 9.3.3 didn't help me either. I called Apple Cares. They were ready to a whole reset on both of my iPads. No thanks. Apple is losing plenty of money if people cannot buy books, let's face it. I am ****** that I can't buy a new book while I am in bed sick. It's very suspicious If I have it both of my iPads. Not to mention all the people on here who recently posted with the same problem. Very annoying.

I Just got o the phone with apple support for the second time this time I took screen shots and sent them to the guy so he could see what I was talking about. He said that the engineering deptartment are working to correct this issue. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Thank you for your patience in dealing with Apple Support.  Hopefully it will be resolved.  My issue started before I installed 9.3.3 - actually a few hours before I installed it.  My old iPad 2 has 9.2.1 on it and Ibooks is working for a point of reference.

WWhen will we get ibooks featuring to purc to work agian even after you open a book i waint it works buy tomorrow or a lot of people will sue your company it the Ib features to purchase and now I can't delete books out of my folder its ust stay in the folder but not download

I am able to download books through iTunes as Phil0124 stated, at least as a workaround until Apple fixes the issue.  Just search for the title in iTunes but then select Books at the top and download from there. It should put the book into iBooks.

I spent over an hour talking to apple help, did all the usual, forced restart, even did a reset which didn't work until I signed out and signed back in with my Apple ID it is now working.

I been starting to get the same problem on my IPad Mini 4 since 21 July.  IBook store seems to work ok on my IPhone 5s but not always on my IPad Mini4.

Hope it will get fixed soon.
