Q: Link issue within Safari

I am having issues with safari, when I go to a website like QVC, I can get so far and then when I click on the link to the next section, nothing happens.  When I use Chrome don't have the issue, it should be noted that I have the same issue with Firefox.   I just went to another website and there was a description of a piece of furniture that was for sale, the photo of it did not show nor could I see the rest of the text when I click "read more"

I am using OS 10.11.6 and Safari 9.1.2.
