Q: Contacts won't save Faces as Framed

When adding a face to my contacts in the app, I select the face from the iPhoto faces (within the Contacts app) and then zoom and frame the picture as needed. When I click done, it cranks for a few seconds and then zooms and re frames the photo missing the desired face. Is there a trick I'm missing?

    Does it happen outside of iPhoto?  Copy the image to your desktop and manually add it to find out if this is something iPhoto specific.  I'm not experiencig the issue, but I've had file specific problems in the past.  Two cool apps Cobook and Face2Face have made managing contacts (cobook) and email icons (Face2Face) much easier.

    This problem is pretty annoying and still happening. Faces + Contacts is basically useless, which is frustrating as this is what links in to the Messages apps as the face of the fellow messenger.

    I have the same problem. Faces in contacts will not stay zoomed on the right spot.

    I am jealous every body with none apple phones can see who is calling.
