Q: so much of my storage space!
I'm on OS X El Captain on my macbook pro.
This storage is crazy.
I have 58 gb for OTHER! what?!?! how do you get rid of that!
41 gb for apps too, like other than the predownloaded apps i have spotify and that's basically it.
Why are they so unproportionate! They dont match up! Please help

I have difficulty believing Spotify is such a big app, so I'm not sure the numbers you have are accurate. Can you reindex Spotlight first to make sure you have the correct information? Here is how to do it :
