Q: Do I need to unlock my Verizon iPhone to use it in Germany?

Hi, I want to use Verizon iPhone6 in Germany.

I get it as secondhand on eBay, and i cannot ask it to the previous owner.

I'm using it in Japan peacefully with Japanese carrier,

but I saw some articles that says I have to use Verizon roaming to use it in Germany.

I'm asking to this community because I cannot tell if it is correct information.

A:

All Verizon iPhones are unlocked, I believe it started with the iPhone 5.

You can also contact Apple and ask them. Official Apple Support
