Q: missing remote to audio receiver

Can I still program apple tv remote to control volume if I am missing remote to audio receiver?

Apple TV, tvOS 9.2.2

Probably not. Do you use another remote to control the receiver? If so, you can use it to program the ATV remote.

You don't need to program the Apple TV Siri remote to adjust the volume on your receiver, if it's connected a properly and compatible all you need to do is set settings > remotes & devices > home theatre control > volume, to whatever works for you.

Ironically, I don't have my receiver remote either.
