Q: Photo card printing issue

I have used iPhoto previously and had no difficulty printing a card using the export PDF option. However I am trying to print a card now and it is exporting as 3 pages with the photo, which should be on the front of the card and therefore on the right side of the page, appearing on the left side of the page, the next page is blank on the right side with the greeting on the left side and the next page has the back of the card on the left side with a blank section to the right. It is driving me insane! Can anyone please offer me a solution?  I need to print the birthday card this morning!

Which version of iPhoto and which card theme are you using?  Any card theme I tried included just the photos without the graphics ornaments.

iPhoto 9.6.1 is very disappointing when saving the preview of a card. It will include the photos, but not the graphics elements, that are part of Aplle's stationary.

My quick and dirty way of printing the cards is to take screenshot of the separate pages of the card and arrange them with Preview.

I'M using Photos 1.0.1 - hadn't realised that I'd 'lost' iPhoto! I used my HP Photo Creations instead. So annoying though as it used to be so simple.  I made a card 4 weeks ago and had no problem- usual 2 pages! Thank you for replying and I liked the sound of your workaround but surely Apple can do better than this? I mean. I KNOW they can because it worked perfectly 'til recently.

That explains it then.  The projects in Photos are using very different templates.

And you are way behind with Photo 1.01 - I suggest that you consider upgrading to the current version Photos 1.5 (under OS X 10.11.6) - it have many, many new features and bug fixes
