Q: Calendars not showing up in iTunes

I have 8 calendars On My Mac, have the cloud turned off, I sync to my computer. When I hook my iPhone 6 up it syncs everything except my calendars. When I go to iTunes/iPhone/Info/checked Sync Calendars & have All calendars selected but none of my calendars show up there and nothing gets synced. iPhone 6 9.3.2, iTunes 12.3.3.17. If I scroll down to Advanced and under Replace information on this iPhone and select calendar, when I sync to get the data it unchecked Calendars.

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

I am now at 9.3.3 for the phone & 12.4.2.4 for iTunes, no change.

    Huffman,

When opening Calendar on your iPhone, what calendars, are listed when you select "Calendars" at the bottom of the screen and choose "Show All Calendars?"

On your computer what calendars are listed in the Calendar>View>"Show Calendar List?"

On my iPhone under From My Mac: Calendar and it has a check mark next to it.

On my computer I leave the calendars in View mode since I have so many different ones.

They all have different names but none of them are Calendar. All are checked.

In iTunes iPhone/Info Sync Calendars only shows Calendar, note of my other calendars.

Thanks for your interest in this. I've posted a couple times with no replies.

On the iPhone, is there a "Show All Calendars" field? Be sure to select that if you see it. What subcategory calendars are listed? For example, On My Mac, iCloud, or other? I use iCloud, so mine displays iCloud/Other.

I would expect that the iPhone "On My Mac" Calendar app should have all of the "different ones" that you have on your iMac.

Can you post any screen shots displaying your setup? Be sure to block out any personal information.

I posted a reply with the 2 screen shots you requested, no clue where it went, maybe it takes a while to load images.

Out of curiosity I created a new calendar and a new calendar group. Neither shows up in iTunes. I feel it is an issue between iTunes & Calendar.

    Huffman,

Backup all of your individual "On My Mac" Calendars using Calendar>File>Export>Export...> Also create an Archive using Calendar>File>Export>Calendar Archive...

Is the Calendar App on your iPhone providing any useable data? If not consider deleting it...click on the ( i ), and choose Delete Calendar. Then reattempt to sync with your computer.

Edit: Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using Wi-Fi - Apple Support is another possibility.

Have you considered updating your operating system to El Capitan?

NO to el capitan, looks like too many issues with older macs, mine is a mid 2011.

Can not delete calendars from the iphone, just unclick. Since it's an apple product I can't delete it and restore either.

Backed up all calendars then deleted them. Restarted & zapped the p-ram.

Went into iTunes and selected my phone, unchecked Sync Calendars, got warning everything will be deleted, said OK & synced. Closed iTunes.

Opened calendar, created new calendar and inserted one event.

Opened iTunes, selected my phone, selected sync calendars & synced - nothing!

Went back to Calendar and restored everything. Back to iTunes to sync - again nothing!

Can not find any calendar or ical folders with caches to remove as suggested in another post.

Going into iTunes section to see if I find anything there. My next choice will be to uninstall itunes & calendar, reinstall them and see what happens.
