Q: Connecting iPad mini 4 to iPhone 5s using a cable
I currently use the hotspot on my iPhone 5s so that my iPad mini 4 can connect to the internet while I'm out playing Pokemon Go. I get a message on the iPad stating 'GPS signal not found.' quite often. The battery on the iPad lasts longer then the iPhone while using the Pokemon Go app. Is it possible to connect the iPad to the iPhone using a cable and hopefully allowing the app on the iPad to use the GPS signal on the iPhone without it dropping out?
iPad Mini, iOS 9.3.3, iPhone 5s

Hi
No the best thing to buy is a mifi dongle contract or pay & go from your
Network provider or ebay you can run up to 10 devices
Works anywhere you have a mobile phone signal .
Cheers
