Battery:
" Health Information:Cycle Count: 351
Condition: Normal"
I haven't really kept an eye on the Activity Monitor previously, so I don't have a baseline; I do notice that Google Chrome has an Average Energy Impact of 40.00, which compared to other apps listed is quite high (contrast Microsoft Word with 2.47) but I'm under the impression browsers usually use a lot more energy in general... I know I can save battery by turning off wifi, but a) I need to be online for my work and b) this hasn't previously been a problem.
According to the Activity Monitor it's forecasting a 3:20 minute total time, but considering I was at full charge less than an hour ago and am now at 50% I'm rather dubious about this. -
Jul 25, 2016 10:46 AM in response to ldenholmby Esquared,In the View menu of Activity Monitor, you can also select "All processes". That will give you a completer overview of what is happening. Perhaps there's some system process running amok.
