Q: erase and restore my classic ipod
I have deleted a number of songs from my iTunes which are still on my ipod. I am thinking about erasing all of my stuff on the ipod and then doing a "restore" from my iTunes. Is this a good plan. If so, how do I do it? Norm

You'll find the restore option on the device's summary tab when it is connected to iTunes. If the device syncs with the library then syncing it will remove any tracks that you've deleted from the library.
