Jul 25, 2016 9:25 PM in response to marv18204by gail from maine,What do you mean when you say your music is "being sent to icloud"? What, exactly, do you see happening that indicates to you that they are "being sent" to iCloud? Can you clarify what the issue you are seeing is?
Cheers,

Jul 26, 2016 2:35 AM in response to gail from maineby marv18204,Sorry, that I did not explain it clearer. Most of the music I had was available but a few weeks ago when I clicked on a particular song, I received a message that the file could not be found and did I want to locate it.......on other songs when I clicked on them the iCloud symbol pops up and after about 30 seconds the song began to play. Also those with the cloud symbol will not record to disc. I have not activated iCloud but the symbol shows up behind the song title so I assumed that it was stored in iCloud. I may have not mentioned that since I upgraded to El Capitan my system has been unstable......I have lost approximately1800 songs many of which was not downloaded from iTunes and are not included on the purchase list....because when I purchased them I was probably utilizing another ID and password which awhile apple changed my ID to my email address and I had to change my password again at that time.
Thank you for your response Gail.
