    Hello!

Here are a few options for you to consider

    A) If you were not already aware, you may manage your iCloud storage, like you would your local storage, directly from your device. To manage your iCloud storage from your device, please follow these instructions.

    1) Go to Settings > General

    2) Under General, scroll down to the section with the header, "iCloud"

    3) Under the iCloud header, you will see three categories; Total Storage, Available, and Manage Storage

    4) Select Manage Storage and you will see an itemized list of all data presently stored to your iCloud account, including photos, device backups, and documents & data.

Delete the content you no longer want to have stored to your iCloud account and enjoy regained access to previously used storage space.

    B) If you are unsatisfied with the above described method, you may visit https://www.icloud.com and manage your content through your preferred web browser.

    C) For only $0.99 (99 cents) per month, you can upgrade your iCloud storage space from the complimentary 5GB that Apple provides freely for all iCloud users, to 50GB of available storage. That's just $11.88 per year for 50GB of cloud storage that can backup content from your Apple apps, apps that support iCloud, and even any content you drag-and-drop to iCloud drive from your Mac. I personally subscribe to the 50GB iCloud plan and have found it to be quite the boon given all of the photos that I take at family functions and other events. If you find yourself frequently short on iCloud space (as it seems to be your case), I highly recommend this option.

Here are the steps for purchasing additional iCloud storage space from your Mac, PC or iOS device. I'll include the support article link at the bottom just in case you have any other questions about upgrading your iCloud storage.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. If you're using iOS 8 or later, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage. If you're using an earlier version of iOS, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
    2. Tap Buy More Storage or Change Storage Plan.
    3. Choose a plan, then tap Buy and enter your Apple ID password.

    On your Mac

    1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
    2. Click Manage in the lower-right corner.
    3. Click Buy More Storage or Change Storage Plan.
    4. Choose a plan, then click Next and enter your Apple ID password.

    On your Windows PC

    1. Open iCloud for Windows.
    2. Click Storage.
    3. Click Change Storage Plan.
    4. Choose a plan, then click Next.
    5. Enter your Apple ID password, then click Buy.
