Q: My ipad 2 will not connect to my home wifi, all my other tablets and mobiles connect no problem, the ip address on my ipad displays 169.254 which is totally different to the other appliances, can you assist please, Eddy.

My ipad 2 will not connect to my home wifi, all other tablets and mobiles connect without problems, the ip address on the ipad displays 192.254 and I'm sure this is the problem but how do I change it to the correct ip address.

iPad, iOS 6.1.3, Ipad mini

Be sure the IP address setting for your network on the iPad is DHCP.
Have you enabled access control on the router?
