    Hello Terri108,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that you have two Apple ID's and would like to get rid of one. First off, any purchases you have made with your first Apple ID will not be available on the second Apple ID and vice versa. If you only want to use one Apple ID then you would need to choose one and then download/purchase any apps from the other Apple ID to the one you choose.

You could also make the passwords for both Apple ID's the same. That way any apps that you have downloaded to your devices can be updated and you won't have to remember 2 separate passwords.

    Best Regards

I Thought that music had its DRM removed and so it wasn't a problem anymore. Is that not the case?

    If you have local copies.

If you need to use iTunes to download, you'll be reliant on the Apple ID used for the purchases.

Consider Apple's Family Sharing as a solution. Invite the other Apple ID to a family and share content legally/easily.
