Q: Having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps in my iphone 6 after iOS update

After last iOS 9.3 update my iphone 6 is having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps. My wifi connection now is more slow and drops easily in a short distance. My bluetooth does the same. But the most important problem is my phone's GPS. I tried everything lile:

-Doing a network reset

-Doing a total reset and restore in my phone

-Doing reboot my phone two times.

- Checking and unnistalling third party apps

Nothing work. I was in the apple store where they checked my phone and they say everything is ok with the phone. I'm not crazy and I know when something is not working properly. Also I believe that is iOS 9.3 update the one reaponsible for my phone problems.

Please fix those bugs fast.

I complained about this too (see above).  Did the reset 4 or 5 times.  Then I remembered something important - I HAD in fact dropped my phone.  Hard.  It did not crack the screen.  It looked fine. But that was right around the time it stopped working properly.  I honestly believe I damaged the antenna.

Wound up sucking it up and upgrading from 6 to 6c - something I hadn't planned on doing, but I absolutely need the GPS.  I can complain about the fact that it's hard to fix the iPhone myself (I do a lot of electronic repairs and have fixed every iPod I own).  But I don't think mine was a software problem.  I think my issue was mechanical.

nxd10's comment is helpful, and might actually be the "solution" here. I've been having the EXACT same problem everyone has described here. iPhone 6 with iOS 9.3.2, GPS constantly disconnects, and now that you mention it, my Wifi is not connecting to networks it previously had no problems with. The hardware check they do at the Genius Bar returned no problems, but maybe it cannot detect something like a damaged antenna... im not totally sold on that idea just yet though. Just wanted to add my name to the list of many who are having this problem.

My blue sometimes working and my wifi work if I'm 2 foot from the router then I might get 2 bars!!! We paid to much money for our phones to be having this problem! They need to fix this bug and make their customers happy or they are going to start losing costomers!!! I paid to much for phone to be have to be doing this and pay more to get it fixed when it's their fault!!

Apple stop marking this issue as solved as evidently by the list of complains here it hasn't.

Everytime I update my iphone6 there's always a new bug, last time you messed up the bluetooth now's everything!!!!

Same issue as everybody here, updated from 9.3.1 to 9.3.2 and it ruined all connectivity!!! gps, bluetooth and wifi specially!! I get no signal 1 meter away from the **** router!!!!

Give us the chance to go back to a previous ios version since every time you launch updates it just mess up the phone again! now I'm scared to run your updates ever again.!

ios 9.3.3 didn't solve a thing!!! please do something!

I was on the phone with Apple for two days after talking to them they told me it was a hardware issue this is extremely frustrating I sent one of the senior supervisors this page and asked him to look at it and told him that is not a hardware issue in the Apple needs to fix it as soon as possible. They really need to look and see what all this update has done to several people and realize that is not a hardware issue it was an update issue !

Your antenna is broken.  Did you drop it?  If it's still under warranty - bring it back!!!!

I also have these issues with my iPhone 6 and it all began imminently after the update. The wifi signal is always poor and loses connection, the blue tooth is terrible, and the GPS will locate me in the middle of the ocean, or in the middle of the woods (somewhere I am not) and will not track my location when I move. I took my phone into an apple store to get the issue resolved and notified the technician these issues began right after the update 9.3. The technician said they see nothing wrong with the phone and the only way to fix it was to replace the phone for $299 because I was out of warranty. I told them I do not understand having to purchase a new phone that I did not break. Apple please fix this issues I see they have been going on for a while now. . . and I am not the only one with this same story.

So I have the same problem, no gps, poor wifi and bluetooth, when to the "applestore" in chile and didn't get an answer, they told me that I was out of warranty and that I need to go to an external shop to check my phone, I have investigate and it could be the antena, I will changed it and se if it works, the antena cost like 12 dollars, a lot les than the amount needed to change my phone at apple support.

    Galaxy s7 seems good

replied here last time. i had tried every single way i found on net except for replacing the wifi antenna so i realised this must be a hardware issue. so i did. sent my iphone 6 to a local store around my area in Malaysia for MYR80 (around $17.5) and everything has gone back to normal. and the tech said something on my old wifi antenna was rusty(???) idek why ive never got my phone in water but meh the problem is now fixed. Guess the only solution is to replace the wifi antenna.

I had a similar problem with my GPS (but not my wifi or bluetooth). My Apple Maps and Google Maps work fine when I'm connected to wifi. But on cellular data, none of the navigation apps worked. Apple Tech Support and multiple "Geniuses" were stumped. Then I stumbled on this and it worked!:

SETTINGS>PRIVACY>LOCATION SERVICES>make sure Location Services is toggled ON. Then in the middle of this screen: SHARE MY LOCATION>make sure Share My Location is toggled ON. If you found any of these to be toggled OFF then that was your problem (just like me).

Now my Apple Maps and Google Maps work just fine. Hope it works for you too!
