Q: iTunes 12 cannot update album artwork

I have always been able to manually add artwork to my music and home videos, but I just updated to the new OS X Yosemite, and every time I try to manually add artwork...it acts like it is going to add, then it just disappears and doesn't come back.  Is this a bug or is there a new way to add album artwork?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Yep... artwork which just fails to be removed. it strange process i would say, of replacing dummy as mentioned and then delete..

I dunno why it would remove *both* when it can't remove one, but it works .. as technically, the second image would not be "replacing" anything because it cannot be deleted.

Sounds like its not saving the image.... More likely, sounds like it can't add it due to type of image, corruption etc...

Try adding another image jpg form.

I've had issues with "corrupted" images, half and half color (eg the top half of the image displayed while the rest was messed up).

I tried repair disk permissions, but the only way i knew how to fix this permanently was just re-format hard drive/ssd.

Even when i replaced an image, it was just get corrupted again later.

That didn't work.  I haven't had this problem before and now it is really frustrating.
