Try a forced restart as per below and if does not help, try downloading the app Battery Life from the App Store and testing the battery with it. The app is free and reliable.
Forced Restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose anything.

They should be able to diagnose it for no charge.
