Jul 28, 2016 11:01 AM in response to elcpuby Bowest35,This did not solve the problem. Siri keeps talking everytime I touch it, buttons slide etc., but does not reboot. But thanks anyway. My being over 80 years old might hace something to do with it, But id you can tell me where I can get a manual for this Ipad Mini 4, as when it works I can read what it says, but can;t get it going. I bought it from Apple on Line 97 days ago.

Jul 28, 2016 11:15 AM in response to Bowest35by Meg St._Clair,Do you live near an Apple Store? If so, I'd suggest making an appointment and talking it in. It might be easier for them to sort you out in person. They don't charge for that.
If Siri is talking the iPad has been rebooted. The screen is probably just locked. It sounds as though you have VoiceOver activated. That can make things a bit tricky. Try pressing and holding the Home button to invoke Siri. Then, say, "Turn off Voice Over".
