Q: Why is my iPhone 5 battery percentage not accurate?
The battery percentage is not calibrated with the actual percentage. It turns off on its own when it dies. I have tried the trick where you charge it completely and then use the battery up completely until it dies and then charging it completely to make it calibrate the actual percentage but it did not work. We got the phone battery replaced months before this problem came along. Someone please tell me what to do other than that trick. Thank you in advance.
iPhone 5, iOS 9.3.3

Since you have tried the standard gauge calibrating techniques about all you can do IMO is to restore the system in case it is corrupted.
System Restore. First backup your device using iTunes. Also import your photos to your computer and copy all important data. Try restoring from backup first and testing it. If it does not help, you may have to restore as New and reconfigure from scratch as the backup could be corrupted. For this reason it is important to have your photos and data saved separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a Restore:

If the above steps do not help, you may have to have it tested at an Apple Store.
