Q: Watch 'Exercise Screen' Frozen.

My watch screen froze this am for first time ever when I tapped it to start up Outdoor Walk option, can vaguely see it in darker background. Other exercise options clearly visible, but cannot activate them now either. Can't swipe any of them up/down, etc.  Other watch apps seem OK.  Watch was fully charged overnight. Left it on arm for walk & placed back on charger when I returned, still frozen. Noticed bright green sensor lights on, never seen on before.  Currently back on charging station, still frozen, 2hrs later. HELP.

    It may help to restart both your iPhone and your watch, after removing it from the charger:

    - Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first;

    - To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off;

    - To turn it on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

    If the issue persists, next try these steps:

    • If you have ever used any third-party apps (eg Strava) to record workouts, check whether there is presently a paused activity within any of those apps on your watch;
      • If there is, end that activity from within that app on your watch (not your iPhone).
    • Check your heart rate:
      • When viewing the time: swipe up on the screen > swipe left / right to the Heartbeat Glance > allow time for it to take a reading > swipe down to exit.
      • Tell Siri: "check my heart rate" > wait for the reading > press the Digital Crown to exit.
    • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Workout - turn on Power Saving Mode (this can be turned off later).
    • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness > turn off Heart Rate and Fitness Tracking. These can be re-enabled later.
    • Restart both devices again (off together, restart iPhone first).

    If you have not yet done so, it may also help to update your iPhone and watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone:
