Q: how do I size multiple pictures on one slide to be the same?

We tried to do it manually, but the pictures don't look the same size. I was trying to figure out if there is a frame or a tool in the software that would allow me to do it.

Ensure the Alignment Guides are displayed:     Keynote > Preferences > Rulers > Alignment Guides

This allows objects to snap in to position when moving one object to align with another:

    • two rectangular images with the same proportions can be resized to fit exactly
    • two rectangular images with different proportions can be resized to fit exactly using the Mask Tool (Format > Image > Mask)
    • a square image can be sized by height or width to fit a rectangular image as below:

    1. From the Images toolbar, insert one image in the slide.
      1. Scale the image to the size that you want.
      2. Format menu : Advanced : Define as Media Placeholder.
      3. Duplicate (command+D, or option+drag) as many as you want from the original image.
      4. Position as needed.
      5. Right-click on the duplicates, and choose Replace Image…

You now have multiple images scaled to the same size. Because they are all Placeholder images, future images that you drag/drop onto them will automatically replace, and resize to the target.
