Jul 30, 2016 9:56 AM in response to Emrhncbby turingtest2,There are no issues currently shown at https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ but I have seen a few posts lately with the same symptoms for different apps. Reboot the device, make sure it is fully charged and connected to the internet over Wi-Fi, then try again.

Jul 30, 2016 10:19 AM in response to Emrhncbby turingtest2,Have you signed out of the App store and signed back in again. Sorry if that's obvious, but I don't have specific set of advice and, as I say, I cannot see any obvious external reasons why you might be having trouble.
