Q: Black screen.

Only on YouTube on my MBP.  Black screen with a white square.  It returns to normal when I touch the mousepad.  This happens at least 10 times before it returns to normal.  It is super annoying.  I turn the MBP off, but it doesn't seem to fix the problem.  I hope someone can help me.

    Hello Ccashu,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that while viewing YouTube on your MacBook Air you get a black screen with a white square. I enjoy watching YouTube as well. It looks like your using OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5. YouTube may run better if you upgrade the Safari browser. Upgrading to OS X El Capitan will also upgrade your Safari browser.

This link has the steps you can use to upgrade your OS X software:

Upgrade to OS X El Capitan

    Best Regards
