Q: Can you create a back up of your phone and export it to a USB Flash Drive?
Hi, I'm just wondering Is it at all possible to create a back up of your iPhone and export it to a USB Flash Drive? If so how do you do that? I am only asking because I told my sister that her iCloud Account is still active on her iPhone 4 and she switched to an iPhone 6 and she said she thinks it backed up automatically, I just don't want to delete the account without making a proper back up first. So what do I do?

No, an iCloud backup cannot be exported to any external media. An iTunes backup can be stored on external media if you wish. See Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support for the location of iTunes backup files. Of course, those files can only be restored to an iDevice using iTunes.
