Q: Magic Trackpad 2 great, but too sensitive?

Hi

Just got magic keyboard and trackpad, second version both, to use with my mid-2015 15" 2.8 MBP. I am quite happy with them but was wondering if there's any way to tone down the sensitivity of the magic trackpad. I hover for a second over something it gets opened, or checked, or...

I checked Sys Prefs, didn't really see anything but maybe I don't know what I'm looking at.

Any ideas to make it less sensitive?

best

    Hello Elmerlang,

Have you looked at this?   Go to Apple logo (top left) > Systems Preferences > Trackpad.   At the top are three options.  Choose Point and Click.

Then you can play with the Click (start at medium) and then the tracking speed (start about three places from the left).

And that still leaves you room to go to less sensitive.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I had checked that out, didn't notice much difference, unfortunately, but i appreciate you proposing the idea.
