Q: There seems to be a bug in Pages.  I imported some text into my document from another font.

I imported some text into my Pages document.  The two texts were different.  I then selected all the text, and selected Times New Roman for everything.  I saved and exited.  I then reopened the document, and the two text types are still there.  How can I get everything to be Times New Roman?  That is why I think there is a bug in Pages.

You probably have two versions of the document and opened the wrong one.

To be a bug it needs to be reproducible and you haven't told us what version of Pages or whether you have tested this across multiple documents, or what you've done to test it. Did you for a start actually check that the font you thought you changed, actually changed before you saved?

If you "selected everything", how did you do that? Is the non-changed text perhaps in a Textbox or Table or something else, that you didn't select and change?

In the ten years of using Pages I've never seen this and have no information that would let me test for it.
