I love Great Danes, and they're more fitting for my height (don't have to bend down to pat 'em), but they tend not to live much beyond seven or eight so I went for the next best thing. As for you: not my business, but there's no time like the present to look for a new home?

The astute observer may also spy a clue from the most recent mutt pic as to why the username is a little too personally identifying for my tastes nowadays.
But I would like to thank the recent thread participants. Granted partly helped by the fact that I'm on holiday in France and have had a half a bottle (...ish) of Medoc, this thread takes me back to those far-off halcyon days of usenet and bulletin boards, a time when we were thrilled by the boundless possibilities of the new free frontier, and I and pretty much everyone else would happily use their real names without thinking twice. Perhaps one day we can reclaim that space. Meanwhile... well, the username will change very shortly after I post this (for which my thanks). But the avatar shall remain.
edit: okay, possibly just a tad more than half a bottle. Sentiment still stands.

As for the latest pic, I certainly see many items on the dash that my dogs would turn into chew toys in a heartbeat!

Yes my account dates back longer than that. Back then I used amendes as login and eventually I had to use a email address, cannot remember why. whenever I try to login with my old user name I get an error stating that my is account inactive.
