Q: Email client won't load iPad 3 iOS 9.3.3

I Have iPad model 3. 64 gig, version , seems to work fine except it takes about 15 tries to get the email client to load. When the icon is selected it loads a frame of the email client but no data, the returns to the home screen. After about 15 times it will work normally.

Any help would be appreciated.

But have you tried deleting and re-creating the accounts? Mail saves data (objects) associated with each account and accesses them when accessing the account. If they're corrupted, or inconsistent with the updated Mail app, they may cause trouble. Deleting the accounts will make it forget this info, erasing any corruption.

Thank you Carolyn, the issue I have is not being able to load the "client". When it finally loads the email works fine. This is not an issue with the email accounts.

Some times it takes 15 to 20 times loading email. I click the email icon the "client" framework appears then it goes away back to the ios 9.3.3 home screen. Once I get the "client" to load the email works fine.

Sorry, I'm not using good technical terminology.

Thank you Diana, I just had time to delete my accounts and reinstall. You were "right as rain"!!

It is now loading the email client with no delays.
