Apple TVCClose the application. Go into the library bundle and move the flexolibrary file to the trash. Relaunch the application. If that doesn't work, try to find recent backup that will open properly.
YOu have multiple libraries called Untitled. You should probably give them useful names. Finding the right backup when the libraries all have similar or the same names will only complicate matters.

Jul 31, 2016 2:17 PM in response to Tom Wolskyby hettiefromscarborough,Hello, I'm struggling to find the flexolibrary file, earthed it but nothing appears. Sorry if this sounds stupid, i'm really bad at these kind of things. Thanks so so much for helping me. I'm really very scared I will lose my work.

Aug 1, 2016 3:12 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby hettiefromscarborough,Hello Tom,
I have tried this but no luck, I have since tried to open earlier versions of the project and I get this message... "the library 'Untitled' cannot be found in its original location". When FCPX opens the project shows as a missing file.

Apple TVopen earlier versions of the project
DOes se that mean you tried to open a backup library?
IDid ou move or rename Untitked prior to accessing the backup? If you did put it back. Open Untitled and from inside the application go to File>open from backup and see if you can access the backup from there.

Aug 1, 2016 3:33 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby hettiefromscarborough,My fcpx backups are contained in three separate Untitled folders which are each inside the folder entitled Movies. Is this where they re typically found? I'm guessing not given the message. I will try and upload some screenshots.

Apple TVTThose are the backups did you try to open the backup from inside the application? Is that where you got the message? Please give step by step what you're doing and what happens.
DId you move or rename the original Untitled project?

Aug 1, 2016 3:44 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby hettiefromscarborough,I double clicked a backup from 3 days ago and it came up with the message "the library 'Untitled' cannot be found in its original location". Alongside that message was another which asked me to save it to a new location. Following this I closed the app, I have since attempted to open fcpx so I can try access a backup from inside the app like you say but it isn't responding. I really don't know what to try next as its told me the backups are in the incorrect place.

VideoIt might also be worth mentioning, I have a folder beside the movies folder entitled "Final Cut Pro Backups" but it is empty. Could this have something to do with it?
