What format should you store your data and pictures that can transfer from a  PC or Mac or Mac to PC!

example FAT32, XFAT, OR OTHER FORMATS ???????

    FAT 32 is the best to use for PC/MAC

    You can transfer image files on a drive formatted Fat-32.  Both the Mac or a PC can read files on this format. But don't dump all files at the top level.  Create a folder on the drive and write the image file into that folder.

    Avoid very long filenames, and filenames with ethnic characters.

     

    But do not store any photo libraries on a FAT formatted drive.  iPhoto Libraries, Photos Libraries, aperture libraries require the file system MacOS Extended (Journaled).
