Q: iMac as monitor
Hey everyone,
I'm about to buy a PlayStation 4 and I'd like to know if I can use my iMac as a display for it.
I have a 20-inch iMac, half 2007 (no Thunderbolt) and an iMac from 2011 (which has Thunderbolt) and I have an iBook G4 which probably can't be used (FireWire, USB and MiniDisplay Port).
So can I use any of these device to play games on it with a PlayStation 4 like you would with a TV?
If there are any connectors I'd have to buy, a link would be helpful but not necessary.

Jonas,
Not be blunt, but no it will not work. If you haven't already please carefully read Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support. This will explain which Macs can be used, note it does not mention any other devices such as your Play Station or PCs, the reason being is they simply will not work.
Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but that's how it is.
