Notification Center Missing All Widgets?
There are 3 possibilities:
1.) restarting after several times may bring them back
2.) Disabling SIP, and restarting to repopulate; then re-enable SIP
Follow these steps to disable SIP:
- Restart your Mac.
- Before OS X starts up, hold down Command-R and keep it held down until you see an Apple icon and a progress bar. ...
- From the Utilities menu, select Terminal.
- At the prompt type exactly the following and then press Return: csrutil disable
- After verifying your widgets are back, Reboot into Recovery and enable SIP, via the command csrutil enable
3.) Using Terminal to Reset the Launch Services database, copy and paste:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed
