Yes - touch screen is always active on an iPad or iPhone regardless of any keyboard, blue tooth or smart connector, connected to it. Similarly, the Apple Pencil does not turn off the touch screen when paired.

No Apple laptop or desktop computer has a touch screen. Only iPads and iPhones (and iPods) have touch screens.

I am looking to purchase a new Apple product and had multiple questions. First I wanted a new IPad with a Smart Keyboard but also wanted the screen to be a touch screen.

then I thought maybe a MacBook and not an IPad because I wanted to have a USB port and then didn't know which

kind of MacBook to get, an Air or a Pro.

MY current iPad Gen 3 is a mess with numerous issues. The worst is caused by my email Coming from a source that is no longer in existence. I have forgotten the password to it and need to upgrade my storage and the pop up, with that non existant email address, keeps asking for my password, which I dont know. Almost everything Imtry to do has the pop up appear asking for my password. I am going crazy seeing it all the time.

The other issue is double clicking the home home button makes the screen go to grayscale with no color. If I want to

fix it I have to go to settings and take it off grayscale to have the color return. Only to have it do it again every time I doubLe click the home button. All the while dealing with that I have to keep cancelling the pop up asking for my password.

Can any one help with any of those issues.
