Aug 2, 2016 6:21 PM in response to Eee_teeby DrRudi,If you have a 'No Service' message in relation to your cellular service, then, with the iPad running eject the SIM card, and then put it in again. Alternatively, eject the SIM card, shut down the iPad, put the SIM card back in, and restart. Play around with those options and you should have success.

I have followed the advice as given by apple, in terms of ejecting sim card/ resetting network settings etc. any advice where I go from here?

Contact your carrier and ask them if they have a carrier update or know of an issue.
Secondly take the phone to an Apple Store as the hardware could be defective.
You could also try a System Restore as New (not from backup) and test the phone to eliminate the possibility of a corrupted iOS install. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252
