Q: Can't install Windows graphics drivers with Bootcamp

I have successfully installed Windows 8.1 with Bootcamp, using a 2010 iMac with ATI Radeon HD 4670. Windows works as long as I have the generic display driver, but I have no graphics acceleration. If I try to install the ATI driver, Windows goes completely black and I need to reinstall it. I tried installing various driver versions from Bootcamp's support software as well as Catalyst from AMD website, with the same result.

Please try drivers listed in Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support ,

iMac

Mac model Windows 7
64-bit Windows 7
32-bit Windows Vista
64-bit Windows Vista
32-bit Windows XP
32-bit
iMac
(27-inch, Mid 2010) 5 4 - - -
iMac
(21.5-inch, Mid 2010) 4 4 - - -

These drivers should work on W7 and W8.1 64-bit versions.
