    From what you say I gather that you were a MobileMe subscriber - hence the @me.com address - and when it closed in 2012 you had emails on the server and had not downloaded them to your Mac - is that the situation you are describing? In this case the emails and any other data on your iDisk were deleted when MobileMe closed and are not recoverable.

     

    On the other hand, if you are saying that you continued to use the @me.com version of your address once you migrated to an iCloud account, and only more recently started using the @icloud.com address instead, then any messages addressed to @me.com should still be in the inbox o the server unless you deleted them. The two addresses are the same thing - messages to either appear alongside each other in the inbox and are handled in every respect identically. If you deleted them on your Mac you also deleted them from the server, unless you had downloaded them to a separate folder. If you deleted them they would move to the server's Trash folder, but would be cleared from there after seven days, after which there is no way to retrieve them.
