Q: How to transfer photos from Mac book air to IPad 2

There are a number of possibilities but since you posted in the Bluetooth forum I will address that. Note that you cannot Bluetooth pair an iPhone with a computer for any purpose other than personal hotspot (sharing the iPhone cellular internet connection).
