Q: I can't install OS X onto my MacBook Air

I recently purchased a Mid-2011 11" Macbook Air and I tried update it from OS X lion 10.7 to OS X El Capitan and I get this error message saying "The OS X Installation couldn't be installed. It would let me save the log or view it. I tried it five times and put it into recovery mode also and I get the same results every time!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Try installing from bootable USB stick which make by DIskMaker X5.
By the way, do you have enough SSD space to install El Capitan exacting?

I suggest you go through all the steps the previous owner may have neglected to perform. You want to start with a Mac that appears to be "out of the box."
