Try a different pair of batteries (you should have 6). Check the actual charge level of the batteries if you have a battery charge monitor.

Unusual for a Device that comes WITH a charging system to provide "extra batteries" - but I now see the system was likely bought as the standalone charging system... I must really learn to read carefully instead of "speed reading"
