Q: Finding edited picture files after using Photos

Hello, I am a new to using a Mac.  I uploaded pictures to Photos and then made edits to multiple pictures, cropping etc...  Now I can't find the picture file on the hard drive after editing the using the Photos app, i only find the original file.  I went to finder and then the pictures file and I find the 'photos Library.photoslibrary' file so i right click and select 'show package contents' then i click on the master file and find the file in a folder.  However the file i find does not contain the edits i made, it is only the original file.  I'm not sure what I am doing wrong?  Thank you

iMac, using the newest El Capitan 10.11.6

What you are doing wrong is fiddling inside the Photo library package, it will lead to tears. What exactly are you trying to achieve by finding the original.

That is because if you use a database like Photos you never directly access the data using the finder or any other software - you always use the database management software - the media browser for the Photos application - if that does not meet yoru needs then you need to use different software that does meet yur needs -

TO access your photos you select the in Photos and export (file menu ==> export) to a desktop and use from there or you use the media browser in every upload/attach/open window toward the bottom of the source pane on the left under media ==> photos ==> photos

Thank you for your response. I don't want to find the original, i want to find the edited version so I can send it to someone or upload to another site.  The help above is good for one picture but what if i want to it for 200?  Normally I go to a site and then use the upload feature of the site and then select the photos.

    and again as posted

    TO access your photos

1 - you select the in Photos and export (file menu ==> export) to a desktop and use from there

    or

2 - you use the media browser in every upload/attach/open window toward the bottom of the source pane on the left under media ==> photos ==> photos

You can export multiple photos at once.

IF you are only interested in the image, you may find dragging and dropping them into mail etc much more convenient

I'm sorry but point 1 makes perfect sense and i tested it and it works.  I'm not sure i understand item 2.  What do you mean by media browser in every upload/attach/open window toward the bottom of the source pane.  What is a source pane?  Thank you
