Q: EMail adress added to <<my device name>> <<my device name>> now using <<my mailadress(same as the Apple ID)>> for FaceTime and IMessage.

My iPod touch get now and then following alert message due to change on my iPhone.

EMail adress added to <<my device name>> <<my device name>> now using <<my mailadress(same as the Apple ID)>> for FaceTime and  iMessage.

Why do I get this message? iPhone is turned off due to my offshore work for two weeks, but use of iPod touch is allowed.

Is my apple ID used on other devices with the same name as my iPhone?

I will be happy if anyone has an explanation for why I experience this strange behavior.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.3

When you sign into FaceTime or Messages on another device, other device using that same ID will get the message that another device was signed in. Some iOS (and OSX) update have you re-login so other devices will get the message when that happens.

You said "due to change on my iPhone"

    What changed on the iPhone?

    I Have several devices.

    IPhone 5s Version 9.3.3

    iPod touch Version 9.3.2

    OLd iPod touch Version 6.1.6

Old iPod got the message that my iPhone was configured with my email on iMessage and FaceTime when iPhone was turned off. The new iPod touch was not turned on, and I did not receive this message on that device.

Support say it can be a problem with iCloud sync between old unsupported device (old iPod) and the newest iOS Version on the iPhone.

I do not think the sync this is the problem, and susspect an other device is used with my apple ID or Mail.

Message has been generated two times in a week.

When I test with a new device I got the exactly the same message on the old and new iPod touch, so I think that test confirm an other device is used with my user info. Maybe some family members has got the user info, I am now going to change passwords.

What is your opinion about this?

These three devices use the same Apple ID.
