Q: I can't transfer Apple Music to iPod Nano

I started Apple Music trial, and I added some songs to My Music library, when I connect my iPod Nano 7g and try to sync. It says that song was not copied to the iPod because it is a subscription item.

It is supposed that I can play them offline, right?

iPod nano, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), null

Thank you for the textbook answer. The lack of sincerity and concern for customer satisfaction is evident, and not what I expect from Apple, Inc.

You do understand that no one who's posted in this thread works for Apple, right? The person you just criticized for lack of sincerity is just a fellow user like you. And, how an answer that is 100% correct be insincere?

I just bought an iPod Nano last night (I didn't even know they still made the iPod), because I bought a Harley with a sound system, and my iPhone 6s Plus doesn't fit into the holder. I was so excited, I could bring my Apple Music with me on the road!

I understand that it's a rental service, but...seems to me that if you don't sync within 30 days (if, for example, you were going to cancel Apple Music), then why not have it delete everything from the Nano? I have no problem with it, since I wouldn't be paying for a service and wouldn't expect the benefit of it.

And if done accidentally (not syncing)? A simple sync would put those tunes back on to the device. So I either have to return the Nano, cancel the Apple Music and still with Amazon Music and find another device, or get XM Sirius.

I thought piracy was pretty much addressed over the last decade. Very disappointed and I'm a huge Apple fan.

The nano doesn't contain a secure clock, or wi-fi so it could call in to check on the subscription, therefore it isn't a suitable device for Apple Music.
