Welcome to the world of Apple!

Apple computers use a very different operating system than Microsoft's.  Apple computers run OS X, while Microsoft (which Lenovo uses) provides Windows.

    So, you have two choices:

    1. Purchase Microsoft Office for Mac or Office 365, as the Microsoft Office version you have is not compatible with OS X.
    2. Use Boot Camp on your Mac, which enables Windows to run "on top of" OS X.  Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support

Apple computers are so different from Windows computers, I strongly recommend you read about the differences.  This book, "Switching to the Mac: The Missing Manual, El Capitan Edition" by David Pogue, is an excellent reference.

(I have no financial interest in this book.  I did read the edition that was current when I made the switch and highly recommend the book.)
