Q: I cannot reinstall Final Cut Pro X

My Final Cut Pro X got damage after i tried to load the old DVD studio Pro, it was recommended to me to reinstall it again from the App Store and i tried that today but it says that is already installed and was not purchased from the App store, how can i reinstall it now?.

Do you see it in the Purchased page when you sign in with the Apple ID used to purchase it. You sometimes get the already installed warning when there's a copy on another drive or partition. Doesn't apply to Time Machine drive.
