Q: Contextual menu appears everywhere
My granddaughter (10) wanted to "record" somthing. So she downloaded a PC recorder (no attempt to open). It was removed from my computer. Now contextual menus appear no matter where one clicks, if clicked normally.
Slapping the mouse can get rid of the contextual menu usually. It took eight slaps just to start this question. This happens in both Firefox and Safari. I bought a new mouse, same story. I have tried unplugging several tmes. I have run VirusBarrier, no change. How can I get rid the contextual menus?
Would transferring the Mac HD backup onto the desktop work?

In Keyboard and Mouse, it sounds like you have the left button sent to "Secondary button". You want it set to "Primary Button".
