Q: iPhoto won't update
I got an error message before updating when I click on iPhoto, so I updated and now the error message says: "The version of iPhoto installed on this Mac is not compatible with OS X Yosemite. Download the latest version for free from the Mac App Store." So I updated my computer to Yosemite. No change, iPhoto still wouldn't open. I then downloaded the upgrade to iPhoto 9.4.3 and when I went to launch that, I get this error message: Alert: iPhoto 9.1 or later is required to install this update. When I click on the app store button with the first error to go to the app store to download the latest version it says: "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store." so I have no clue what to do to get iPhoto to work but I have a ton of photos and no way to get them on my computer. I don't even know how to access them on the cloud help!
MacBook Pro, iOS 9.3.3

Use Photos and drag iPhoto out of the Dock.
If you installed iPhoto from an iLife DVD, or got it with a computer that shipped with 10.6.8 or earlier, you normally won't be able to update it to a version compatible with Yosemite or newer.
